Wet spraying is a method of mixing refractory aggregates, binders, additives, and water to form a slurry with a certain consistency. Magnesium carbon bricks are then sprayed onto the spraying surface using compressed air through a spraying machine. Its characteristics are simple operation, high adhesion rate, and rapid sintering. But due to its high water content and finer grain size, it also shrinks significantly. Meanwhile, due to the thin spray coating, the durability is not very good.

Semi dry spraying is a method of mixing refractory aggregates, binders, additives, etc. with water through the water ring holes at the spraying end, and spraying compressed air onto the spraying surface. The amount of water used can be adjusted at any time according to the spraying situation, generally fluctuating within 10? Between 20%, this is much lower than the water consumption for wet spraying. Therefore, the sprayed layer has a high bulk density and small shrinkage, which can obtain a thicker sprayed layer with good durability. However, the rebound amount is slightly higher than that of the wet method, and this spraying method is widely used.
Flame spraying is a repair method that uses compressed oxygen to transport a mixture of refractory aggregates, fluxes, or heating agents to a nozzle, and mixes them with high calorific value fuel for combustion. The surface of refractory aggregate particles is instantly heated to a molten or semi molten state, and then sprayed and adhered to the furnace lining. The sprayed layer obtained by this construction method has a dense structure, high strength, strong resistance to erosion and scouring, and is solid and durable. But the flame spraying device is expensive, technically complex, and consumes a lot of energy during construction.
